Kyra minturn

 Kyra Minturn, who was born August 19, 1965, is an American actress. She is also an actor and producer. Her most famous character is that of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received an Emmy Award in 2010 and she also won a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her performance as Johnson. The series ended on August 13, 2012, after the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received nominations for the Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles in films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald and is an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII, a speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian and of English descent. Sedgwick has declared herself Jewish and has said she is a part of Passover seders.
